i always lay my 6mo on her back when sleeping but always find her laying on her front, she always pushes herself up against the side of her next to me crib. i’m the middle of the night i’ll try swap her to on her back and she just moans and groans in her sleep and wiggles until she can get back in her position.
is there anything i can do? i’ve been told it’s unsafe for them to sleep on their fronts but its the onlt way she will sleep

I put my lo on her back everynight but she rolls around and always sleeps on her front. She's almost 7 months and has been sleeping on her front since just before she was 4 months. I was worried the first couple of nights but just kept an eye on her. She always has her head to the side so she can breath easily etc.
As long as your lo is able to roll both ways herself and you put her down on her back and she gets to that position herself, it's ok. X

In the 80s it was the recommended way for them to sleep.
Your baby is 6 months, they can move their head, it should be completely fine.
I have a 7 week old who will only sleep on their tummy, luckily she moves her head side to side & I keep an eye on her (I seem to wake whenever she moves if she's on her back or front)
