Does anyone else's 16 month old just not sleep???
My little boy has slept through (7 hours) on maybe 4 occasions. We average 3/4 wake ups a night and often he can be up for a long time moaning.
I support to sleep and always have but I work full time and often go into the office on 3/4 hours sleep and I am just beyond exhausted. He tends to do 7am - 12 (lunch) awake. 12-1 nap and then 7.30pm bed.
I've tried everything from extending wake windows, decreasing wake windows (end up with split nights), sleepy patches, room sprays, supper, night feeds. You name it, I've tried it and it's just failing miserably but I really don't know how much longer I can carry on like this.
My other half works away also and no family close by š„ŗ

My LO has never slept well! Heās done a 4 hour stint twice but mostly itās every 2 hours and then goes to every hour! I think it can be normal itās just sleep training stops it from happening but like you I have chosen to support to sleep! From Facebook groups Iāve joined like happy cosleeper Iāve read that they usually get better towards 2 so Iām just powering through. I think once you realise itās biologically normal itās easier to accept but I do feel like Iām just trying survive each day with not great sleep! I usually try and get a lie in once a week to catch up a bit! Sorry itās not a solution but hope it helps a little ā„ļø

My little boy wakes up between 4 and 5 am every day. We have started giving him porridge and then putting him back to bed and he's then sleeping through to 8am. (Not that I benefit from this because once I'm awake I'm awake)
Maybe you could try that. Giving him some solid food when he first wakes up and see if that fills his tummy and settles him x
