I would anticipate a bigger baby, but I'm also not your doctor 🤷‍♀️ Around that same time for me, my son was measuring somewhere in the 70-73rd percentile. As of 31 weeks, he measured to be at least 6 pounds in the 97th percentile.

I’m planning on a home birth and am second guessing myself now 😅

My son always measured big, he was 9lbs 5 oz. But sometimes they hit growth sports and sometimes they hit plateaus. Doctors can't quite even tell if a baby was large. Their machines showed my son being 6lb but he was 9.

Spurts and plateaus make sense!

My baby was measuring a solid week behind up until my most recent ultrasound and he was measuring a week ahead. I have my next scan in a couple weeks so we’ll see what he’s up to in there but I fully believe it all evens out. Most important thing to remember is: you’re capable of delivering a beautiful, healthy baby no matter how big or small he is!!!

Ultrasounds are 80% inaccurate I would just carry on as normal x

Hey Amanda, not necessarily, things progress so much over the rest of your pregnancy and his growth could slow down or speed up,”. Mine was measuring really big at 20 weeks and now at 31 weeks is within the normal range 🥰🥰

My friend’s baby measured in the 90th percentile the whole pregnancy but ended up being a 7lbs 10oz baby. And my baby would always measure in 50th% but I delivered a 9lbs and 13oz which is 90+ percentile 😅 I don’t think those ultrasound measurements are accurate in most cases

Hard to say but ultrasounds are not always accurate! I was measuring 1 week ahead and in the 95th percentile and my son came out to 7lbs. He was just super long!
