Breastfeeding

My baby who is 3 weeks old now has been constantly trying to eat like every single second if he isn’t sleeping which is feeling like more than he sleeps. Am I doing something wrong or feeding wrong or maybe my boobs aren’t producing enough and he’s just sucking air can someone tell me?

Cluster feeding it’s a phase/growth spurt most babies go through! Btw If he’s having lots of wet diapers that means he’s definitely getting enough:)

That will make your flow increase if you breastfeed frequently

No mama you’re fine. My baby is eating more constantly, it’s called cluster feeding. I thought my baby was being a bug back 😂😂😂

It’s normal helps you get more milk coming in as they get bigger

Cluster feeding is hard af and can be exhausting while baby is increasing your supply. As long as baby baby is gaining weight you should be solid!

Mine is too I went to the doctor yesterday and she said that babies will do that for comfort because my baby does that it he will be eating for what seems like an hour and the doctor says for that that they only get milk for the first 20-30 minutes of being latched the rest of the time they are latched is probably for comfort

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
