Hi girls. I’m 37+2 and I have an induction booked on Friday, baby was measuring too small and I also brought it forward as I don’t want to be pregnant anymore.
Ideally though I would have a natural labour and no induction so I’ve been doing all I can to give myself the chance to go into it naturally this week.
I know some signs of labour being near is clearing the bowels more often diarrhoea. However, in my case I’ve been constipated for ages now. It’s been such a struggle to poop honestly but from last night I go and it just glides right out. So constipation is gone and I’m pooping more frequently.
Could this be the potential sign of labour being near? What experiences have you had in the past?

How did you have the choice to bring your induction early? Are you from the Uk?
I would 100% take an induction soon if I could! 😪😪
yea im from the U.K. we were scheduled for just after the bank holiday and I explained to our doctor that my partner is self employed and our only source of income so if possible could we start before the holiday so he can actually be there without the worry of work as he can’t take time off.
The dr was understanding and just informed me that an earlier induction could lead to a higher chance of c section and as long as I was aware of that risk it was alright.
