Cradle Cap

My 11 week old has a few dry skin patches on her scalp, it’s not worrying me or bothering her but I was wondering what shampoo is best? Currently just using Johnson’s orange bottle because it smells like baby😂

I personally just used normal shampoo then used a wee silicone thing of amazon and rubbed at my sons head while he was in the bath then when he got out I put oil on his scalp and rubbed again. But there is shampoo for cradle cap x

I've been using detinox cradle cap shampoo on my little ones head and it's worked really well x

I'm not using any shampoo (and don't intended to until she's closer to 1 y/o), and I am not a fan of J&J as there are quite a lot of harsh chemicals in their products. We just wash our little one with warm water, pat it off, and then use a pastry brush to moisturise her scalp with olive oil. That was what was recommended by our GP x

I use nalas baby, I check products for my baby on the yuka app before buying. We bought the dentinox shampoo for when he has some cradle cap patches xx

My son is almost one and I’ve only recently removed the small patch of cradle cap he had. It took a few goes, but I just used his regular Childs farm shampoo along with the fridababy flake fixer 3-1 set. It’s a sponge, then a little soft exfoliater (it’s super gentle) and then a little comb. Within about 3-4 uses all his cradle cap is gone x

Will never touch Johnson’s stuff all those chemicals. We use weleda or neals yard.

I use noodle & boo and the Frida baby comb and brush set. Helps very well

Highly recommend using the Kokoso brand, they sell coconut oil and they actually do a cradle cap cream and body / hair wash and that sorted my daughters out within a few days! They have a bristle brush and a silicone one to help get rid of the flakes and exfoliate, really reasonably priced too and the stuff lasts! Xx
