So I’m a pasta and curry lover. And I absolutely love coke to wash it down with. I was currently eating a butter chicken curry and had a bit of coke before I started eating again and soon as the coke was down I instantly felt sick and I had to rush off to the toilet to be sick.
This is the first that’s happened to me. I’m fine with coke alone and I was fine with just the curry but as soon I mixed the two that was it, hell was unleashed😅🤣

Definitely not alone! Normally such a foodie but since week 4 (now week 9) just eating anything sets the nausea off. I found eating smaller and more regularly better. And lots of small sips. Or if I have a big meal it takes an hour to eat (lots of small bites 🤣). It's amazing what our body suddenly rejects

I totally agree with the little but often. As yeah main meals are usually a struggle for me too. It’s really strange isn’t it. Like I normally have a glass of coke with my main meal and this is the first time sickness has happened at all this pregnancy and I’m 10weeks so yeah definitely weird 🥴

I read on the NHS website not to drink whilst eating, wait around 30 mins after you finish eating to have a drink. Also coke has caffeine so your body might not like it. Just before I took a test I had a huge coke at the cinema and then a bad tummy all that night!
