Any tips or tricks on staying awake with a 3 week old? I stared getting better sleep recently when my BF started bottle feeding the middle of the night shift so I could sleep a bit but between healing from the C section, breast feeding and being 35 lol I am soooooo exhausted . I can’t keep my eyes open half the time and coffee does NOTHING! Any advice is welcome! Or just support that I’m not alone.

I feel it. I'm 34 with a 5 week old, a high-school, and an elementary school kid with a bf who works the closing shift at work. So I get her all day, all night, and he gets her for a few hours after work. I get a good 2 to 3 hours of sleep straight, then it's my shift overnight with a velcro baby who hates being put down or let alone a foot away from us. She's learning to take her pacifier, she's formula fed, bottled breast milk fed and working on her breast feeding.

It gets easier, my baby is 6 weeks now and does 4-5 hr stretch’s during the night. During the night I play a game to try to stay awake. During the day fresh air can help refresh the senses.
I know the feeling how coffee doesn’t seem to work. 🤗

I’m 34 with my first born, he’s almost 3 weeks old, exclusively breastfeeding/nursing, and also recovering from a c-section! I’m just here to say I feel you..My baby boy wakes up every 2.5-3 hours ready to eat again, and I have such a hard time keeping my eyes open. I’ve googled ways to try to stay awake too. So far I’ve tried drinking cold water, playing games on my phone, eating a snack. I’ve noticed if I get up and go to the bathroom before starting to nurse him, it seems to wake me up a bit more than just sitting up in bed and my husband handing him to me after changing his diaper 🤷♀️
