Baby is 4.5 months old and he takes 4 naps which range from 30 mins to 1 hour. His last nap of the day is somewhere between 6-7 and he’ll sleep for 30mins or 1 hour. I’ve started to see that he wakes up either crying as if the nap wasn’t enough or he wakes up not crying but still rubbing his eyes and in general not be able to stay awake for his regular amount of wake window so we end up doing his bedtime routine within the hour of him waking up so he can go back to sleep for the night.
Do yall think it’s time to drop the last nap and do bedtime early?
I’m worried if I do bedtime early he’ll wake up early or he’ll have more wakes in the night.
He sleeps from 8:30-9 to 7-7:30 everyday right now.

It sounds like it, at this age their ideal bedtime moves to 6.30-7.30 pm, so even if he wakes up he might just need help going back to sleep. In 2-3 weeks he'll likely be able to link those sleep cycles

Gotcha. Yeah I can try moving his bedtime to earlier. Any tips on how to drop naps?

I'd just move the bedtime routine to that 6-7 slot instead of doing it as a nap.

Delaying the early afternoon nap by 30 min might help to bring bedtime forward.
