My LO loves sleeping on her side. She’s 6 weeks and can roll back over on her back. Should I let her sleep on her side or do I need to roll her back?

I let mine sleep on her side. Some will say it’s not recommended but if you have a firm surface and nothing else in crib, I don’t see the problem. At this point they can raise their head up or to the side and cry.
it’s the only way to get her to sleep on her own and my mom lets her sleep on her side when she keeps her. I was just worried bc I know they say not too but she has always hated laying on her back

Both my girls like sleeping on their side from birth. The only thing is if you swaddle I’d take out their arms now so it’s safer

My daughter was 2 weeks old sleeping on her stomach because she was able to hold her head up and turn it to each side and not bury her face in the bed
they say not to let them until they can roll. I’ve read where sleeping on there stomach can send spit up into their lungs so when my LO is sleeping by herself she side sleeps or back sleeps but when she’s on me I let her lay on her stomach. I would say if she sleeps on her stomach during the day where you can watch her it’s fine but at night I wouldn’t just bc you need sleep too girl
and it used to be where the parents were told to lay them on their stomach so it really is what you feel comfortable with in my opinion. As long as they can lift and turn their head id let her sleep however she’s comfortable.
