My baby is having a breastfeeding aversion since early July. I tried everything my lactation consultant suggested but with no luck and my baby only feeds from the breast during the night. She has a clear preference for the bottle since the effort is lower 😞

How old is baby?
Do you do lots of skin to skin during the day so baby can smell the boob?
When baby is awake and happy I would try letting her sniff/play with the nipple. Gently rub your nipple on babies lips to encourage her to smell the milk.
Maybe try feeding her upstairs in bed if she’s used to feeding at night, try recreate the scene during the day.
Just have to keep offering the boob throughout the day even if she’s not to hungry, to encourage the flow and she’ll always smell your milk
thanks🙏🏼
she is almost 4 months

I hope this is helpful. Might take a few days but if you keep at it eventually she’ll latch in the day

One thing that I think helped mine was to use a premie bottle nipple to slow down the flow and make her work for milk from the bottle too. This is what my lactation consultant suggested to me.
