Is there such thing as a 6 month regression? My LO now is waking in the night & it’s taking about an hour to get him down again! Never used to be like this!! & way more frequent wakings. It’s been a struggle

Yes I’d say so! My LO had sleep regressions at 6 months, 8 months, 12 months and 18 months 🙃 hang in there, it will be over before you know it!!

6 months is the typical age for teething to begin.
Also, while 6 months is not a typical age for a sleep regression, there's an element of YMMV to this.
Either way it should be finite and if you are worried, you can certainly seek medical advice.

My LG is the same, crying a lot more and waking so much, was sleeping well before this

Omg that is brutal! Currently we are in the midst of teething, 6 month sleep regression, & learning to crawl. I don’t keep track but my baby monitor tells me every morning how many times I feed or comfort her in the night. We are up to 14 times a night, and then wake up call at 6am! Thankfully her first nap is usually 1.5-2 hours, so I’ll nap with her !!
There are so many factors contributing to sleep during this time.
Yes it’s been so tough!! We’ve been having some really short naps during the day & someone mentioned it might be time to drop a nap & maybe that’s why we’re having the wake up in the night! We’ve now gone from 4 naps to 3 & so far last couple days have been really good (although we’re still having 5am wake ups!)
