subchorionic hematoma at 8 weeks

I had one in both of my pregnancies. Everything was fine for me. Just let your care provider know if you experience more bleeding later.

So I bled heavily when I was 11 weeks due to this and I'm now currently 30 weeks pregnant. Mine was bigger than the one you have but they told me pelvic rest and no heavy lifting. Pelvic rest includes not being intimate. After I stopped bleeding everything was fine. I'm hoping you can get some rest as well. Keep me updated please.

I had this in 2 of my 3 pregnancy both around 12 weeks mine was huge I bleed heavily both times ,, they can be expelled by the body or reabsorbed , I was scanned more frequently x

I had one and it went away on its own! My sister in law had one with her first pregnancy, it went away her son is fine, she's been pregnant twice since and has miscarried twice in the last 6 months due to the hematoma, but she's also almost 40 so I think that has alot to do with it.

I had one with my 2nd pregnancy I had spotting and was scanned at 9 weeks they didn’t seem to concerned, I was put on progesterone suppositories did they mention this to you? It had cleared up at my 12 week scan try not to worry I was told there quite common x

Yes I had one and it was only small, my next scan they never mentioned anything so it went away on its own… Sometimes can cause bleeding but they’d have given you a leaflet about it

Today I have passed a small clot around the size of a 2p coin along side dark brown bleeding/discharge. I rang the hospital but they have said there is nothing they can do as they only scanned me on Saturday and everything was okay. I’m just feeling super anxious about this 😫 I’ve previously miscarried twice and both have been just red blood so I’m not too sure if this is what’s happening with this or if it’s just something to do with the hematoma

Brown blood is not fresh so it’s not a bad sign! It’s hard to stay positive but there really isn’t a lot that they can do at this stage, I went for a private scan in the end as I found the NHS as useful as a chocolate teapot so early on…

I had some pretty major bleeding at about 5 weeks pregnant because of a hematoma. I'm talking red blood and quite a few clots. I rested up and as others have said tried to avoid heavy lifting and pelvic rest and it had gone by my 12 week scan. I'm now 17 weeks and baby is doing well!
My sil also had a hematoma early on and has a lovely 2 year old from that pregnancy.
