My LG is 6 months old tomorrow and has never really taken to a dummy but we only tried MAM ones and then just thought she doesn’t need it, but recently she has been teething so badly, she cut her 1st tooth last week and naps have been absolutely horrendous, she screams the house down every time until I give up trying to nap her but that she is so grumpy. I tried one of the MAM dummies we had for her and she did take it started to suck but then spat it out. I am just wondering if it’s worth trying another brand of dummies or if she is now too old to start taking a dummy.
She hates the MAM bottles as well, we use Lansinoh teats which she loves so thinking it might be similar with the dummy.
Any advice is appreciated ☺️

Our baby uses Lansinoh teats too and NUK dummies. She used to spit out but now has one for sleep (3m)

what age did she start taking it? Do you think I 6 months is too late to introduce one? I would just love some help getting her to nap. Getting her to sleep at night isn’t too bad, but nap times are horrendous and I dread them x

Baby might take one, but I’ve personally not heard of someone being successful in introducing a dummy that late. Mine never had one, I did give one to him around 4 months so see what he would do and he did the same (just spat out) however, I got these for him teething and he LOVED them

Hope this helps!🥰
