My baby goes down to bed at 7, wakes up at 5.
He then had a nap at 9 for about an hour to 1.5 hours
Then sometimes has 1 hour in the afternoon……
Is this ok?
I was thinking I’d like him to sleep until 6, could I do that? If so what would you adjust?

I would try transitioning to one 2 hour nap at midday, it will encourage a longer night sleep ☺️ give it a go and see how your little one does, can always drop back to 2 naps if it doesn't work for them
because he wakes up at 5, by the latest 10 he’s so ratty and starts crying if he doesn’t nap.
That’s what I’m scared of like will he get super overtired if I try keep him up till midday? Xxx

We've recently done it as my daughter moved to the toddler room at nursery, it took a week to get her to the one nap day, started with reducing the morning nap to 30min and encouraging a longer nap earlier in the afternoon. At the weekend I make sure I take my daughter out in the morning to keep her engaged as long as possible. I'm happy to share our daily routine if that would help you?
please xx

07:00 wake up and bottle
08:15 breakfast
11:00 lunch
12:00-14:00 nap
15:30 tea
18:30 bedtime routine and bottle
19:00 bed
She tends to sleep right although not at the moment as she is dropping teeth like a shark 🫣

I did it yesterday when my LB woke up at 5am and it worked a treat.
