Pelvic pain

This isn’t my first pregnancy so everything’s a bit looser and baby has a bit more room so I can feel some days she’s in my pelvis (assuming head down) then comes back out - I know eventually she’ll stay head down

But for now some days my pelvis feels so sore when she’s lower
Like I need to take the day off and do nothing but sit down (which is hard because I have 2 young children)

I don’t remember being in this much discomfort in my other pregnancies and I still have 9 weeks to go 😭

Does anybody deal with bad pelvic pain and do you have suggestions other than resting? Or is resting as much as you can do?

Wow! That so sucks! I’m sorry you’re feeling that pain! I haven’t felt that. I am pregnant with my second and she feels so much lowest than my first. I have literally had dreams with feet hanging out of my vagina! I’m not feeling pain. But a lot of pressure and discomfort!

Have you spoken to anyone about the pelvic pain?

Hey, I am in the same boat. The physio pretty much said avoid any activity that makes you balance on one leg. Like going up the stairs too much, or even when you get out of bed and the car you need to make sure both legs are firm on the ground before you walk away. Try to take shorter steps when you walk. But apart from that have you had a look at stretches you can do in YouTube?

I started having shooting pains and could barely walk so I started increasing my gym days and I do stairmaster, helps tremendously

For reference if anyone else also needs help on what I believe to be pelvic girdle pain (thanks to Gabriela) I’ve been very conscious of not putting weight on one leg and making sure I have both feet on the ground when going to stand - this has made a world of difference!! Thank you!

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
