Goats milk

Hey is anyone using goats milk formula like Kendamil goat or nannycare? How are you finding it? I have family history of CMPA so was thinking of going on goats milk first off when I introduce formula. Also was there a shortage of kendamil goat when there were shortages or just the normal kendamil? Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

I came on to ask the same question! We have been prescribed sma althera but there’s been a shortage of that for a long time the pharmacy said yesterday. She said it is showing as in stock now but don’t want to start it if it’s a struggle to get hold of so thinking of the kendmil goats milk instead. As far as I know the shortage was only on the most popular one which is the pink tin stage 1 x

The protein in goats milk is similar enough to the protein in cows milk that most babies with an allergy to cows milk won’t be able to tolerate goats milk. Same goes for sheeps milk too! Interestingly I read that camels milk is a good option but not something that’s readily available here 🤣🤣🤣

Cosleeping

So my 5 month old sleeps in a portable bassinet between myself and my husband every night. He's so good, he sleeps the whole night with both of us each holding one of his hands. My husband wants him to start sleeping in his crib but I honestly love him being with me. I sleep so much better knowing he's right there with me. The times I have tried to put him in his crib he screams and I feel so awful. I also sit there watching the monitor and don't ever get any sleep. I feel like I am being selfish because I want him to stay in the bed with me. I get that in the long run it's better for him to learn to sleep in his crib in his own room but I am just so not ready and he doesn't seem to be either. Is there ever really a good time to make the change? Anyone else dealing with this?

Question for the newborn mamas!

My 2 month old coughs and chokes in between feeds recently. It will come on randomly. Sometimes it’s scary! I think it’s because of reflux but I can’t be sure. He also has been salivating a lot more so he’s got a build up of that. Any ideas/ tips tricks to help?

What are we all doing in terms of sleeping arrangements for our little ones once they arrive?

I'm leaning more towards a moses basket for bedtimes, 💭 any experience or advice welcome 🫶

Daily bath time?

Are there any mums who are bathing their babies daily? My daughters 7 weeks old and I’m only bathing her 2/3 times a week as recommended by my midwife but I feel it helps soothe her tummy as well as relaxes her before bedtime and I’m wondering if I should add more baths into our routine!

Sleeping at Night

I gave birth on 31st March. FTM struggling, my baby hates being put down, hates the next to me crib. We’ve tried swaddling, sleep bags, white noise, any advice I would be so grateful. I haven’t had much sleep since giving birth so grateful for any tips

Third child

What do you do about car space when having a 3rd child. My car won’t fit 3 car seats in the back. I’m mainly stressing as it will only be weekends that the 5 of us will all go in it. Buying a bigger car isn’t an option atm as only just brought a new car 2 weeks ago. Just found out I’m pregnant
