Question for the newborn mamas!

My 2 month old has been doing the same so hopefully someone knows the answer

Have they also been a bit gassy?? My boy does this too.

My son started teething at 2 months old. But he was also diagnosed with reflux at 6 weeks old. He would cough and projectile vomit frequently.. definitely bring up your concerns about reflux to his pediatrician, but it's very possible the extra saliva is because of teething.. now my son didn't get his first tooth until he was 5 months old. But teething definitely started at 2 months

Sounds like reflux, my daughter had reflux and had the exact same. Feed them upright a little more and don’t pat or rub their back when winding, just sit them up and hold their jaw until the wind comes up x

my baby did this too, it was silent reflux. i would keep him upright during and after feedings. I read somewhere that tummy time helps strengthen the muscle that keep the milk down. He's 3 months old now and reflux is a past story, hang in there mama!

It’s because of your fast letdown. When the letdown comes on it’s strong and forceful and the flow kinda chokes them until it slows down again but more sucking can trigger another letdown in a couple mins. It’s normal, it’s not reflux

I used a bulb suction when my son would do that. I would also pat hid back like I was burping him and he would spit up. He started when he was around 8 weeks which is the start of infancy and his dr said a lot of babies start doing it at that age. She said sometimes they do it as a new born which she said is birth-7 weeks but most of the time it starts around 8 weeks

My son had this! He's now 5 months and it no longer happens. I took him to a pediatric chiropractor and she was able to solve the problem. She worked on muscles inside his mouth.
