Double pram/stroller recommendations?

I’m due early March & have a 2 year old son who knows how to walk but I know I’d still need the pram for him as his little legs won’t take him too far.
Anyone have any recommendations for double prams that aren’t too expensive but are durable & still good to use? Preferably one that folds without having to take apart.

I got rid of my sons kinderkraft pram when he turned one & got him the lejoux stroller as it folds in one click. It’s so hard taking off the bassinet of a pram & putting away in the car 😩

I've been looking at second-hand ones. I need a double that isn't side by side as the hallway in the communal area of the flats I live in isn't very wide, and my single can be a bit tight. I did look at the Puggle Memphis 2-in-1 Duo i-Size Double Travel System from thenurserystore.co.uk as it's not as expensive as the cybex gazelle s but been looking at the icandy 7 secondhand as well. It can't be too heavy for me either as I will have to carry up and down stairs. If I could, I'd get a bugaboo donkey secondhand as I love those prams, but it won't fit through my hallway as a double. i also need one that’s not side by side as I don’t like that they take up too much space when walking. Thank you so much for this x

so difficult isn’t it 😩

Have an icandy peach and changing it as it will be too heavy. I am moving from tandem to side by side as once the youngest gets to 6 months they will want to be at the same level for interacting.
I’m looking at the city jogger double, out n about nipper and the mountain buggy duet. A lot of tandem strollers won’t fold as one.

I think I'm going to go for the roma gemeni, we're moving to an old rural area so I think it would be compact enough for smaller shops ect and I don't want a tandem. The baby jogger city something looks good also!

is just came across this one & it seems quite handy, it folds as one as well

I didn’t think about the baby at 6 months wanting to interact & gave the front, I just find it so nerve wracking thinking about taking a double side by side stroller out when walking 😭

Avatar

I’m stressing about getting a side by side one but the ickle bubba Venus is so nice😭

Out n about double nipper 100% I absolutely LOVE ours, having nothing bad to say about it it, fits through all standard doors is lighter than my occaro single pram and is SO nice to push! Plus goes up to 22kg each side, my almost 4 year old is only 18kg now! Half the time he just hitches a ride on the front and the spare seat is for extra bags 😂😂

I have a Cybex Gazelle S, my son will be 2.5 and I’ll have a newborn, I’ve had it out to test it and it’s perfect. Not too heavy, fits on busses etc great and goes through doors no problem 🤍
I did get mine second hand via Facebook Marketplace xx

I googled this coz it sounds so good but I find it so ugly 😩😭 I’m sorry, i wish I liked it coz it looks so durable but looks so military

Avatar

The three above I mentioned can fit into a doorway of 60-70cm so they are built not to be bulky. I believe the mountain buggy duet is the narrowest at 62cm

Avatar

someone above made me realise that while having a front & back stroller is ideal at first, after 6 months the smaller baby would wanna look out into the world & see everything & then it might be an issue 😩 now I’m thinking to get a side by side one, the puggle urban city fold one looks really good & it folds as one! I hate taking apart the prams to put away in the car

Avatar

Might not look attractive but honestly the best, you can get different colours and cozy toes! But so many of my friends went for other ones first and although might look more attractive weren't the most practical and they have since swapped it 😂

Avatar

I live in London & more so in the city area, would this be ideal for busy roads etc? As it’s a side by side one

Avatar

I live in Cardiff and don't find it any bother getting around as it's fairly narrow for a double pram, it's lighter than my normal pram too and is quite nippy to move around if it's busy! The only doors it doesn't fit through is when it's those smaller double doors where neither door is full size but tbh I can find getting my single pram through those doors tight 😂 it can hold a lot of weight too if you've got lots of shopping and things!

Avatar

Sorry to jump on this but I am based in south wales too. Did you get to view the out n about in any stores here before buying?

Avatar

no, the nearest place I could find them in store was Bristol way I think! I just spent ages reading online and I think I might have asked in the Cardiff mums group if it was a pram people recommended and I wanted a pram I'd have the option to run with if I wanted to do seemed like the best option!

I ended up getting the V4 version for a good deal as was just before they brought the new version out last September then have managed to pick up the bassinet attachment and accessories from another local mum on Facebook again just by asking if anyone in the Cardiff mums group would be looking to get rid in the next 6 months 😂

My baby is not even 4 days old and loves to roll on his left side to sleep.

No matter how many time I correct him back on his back he still rolls over. Should I be concerned? His bassinet isn’t wide enough for him to fully roll. When he side lays he can’t go farther than that.

😡

I decided to give my fiancé the baby and finally take a nap being that I was on go for almost 24hrs straight! I’ve told him a NUMEROUS amount of times that he has to turn the a/c when he puts her in her bassinet bc the air goes directly over here

I just woke up to my baby crying and literally shivering to the point her lips were starting to turn purple. And he’s SLEEP!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I want to punch him awake so bad. How do I bring it up to him without crashing out??

Should I be scared for whenever I have sex again?

I haven’t had sex since I was 5 months pregnant & my daughter is already 16 months old. I had a second degree tear as well haven’t even used a tampon or put my finger in there as I’m scared it might either hurt, feel weird or be very loose 🤦‍♀️

Intense Constant Braxton Hicks

I’ve honestly lost count how many I’ve had today and they are sooooo uncomfortable and starting to hurt. Been getting them non stop all day and evening and especially tonight I’ve noticed I’m not getting a break from them. Anyone else? 😭 (this is my third baby and I’ve never had them like this before)
