Constant hunger 1st trimester

I've been snacking on crackers and increasing my protein through chicken, beef, and protein shakes. But it's like I'm not satisfied. I've lost 73 pounds before my pregnancy, and hope to lose at LEAST 30 more pounds this pregnancy. I have a high BMI so I am medically able to. Idk what else to consume besides my usual intake of water to keep me satisfied.

I’m not sure any of us are qualified (unless we are registered dietitians or physicians) to offer much advice. My understanding is that, generally speaking, losing weight while pregnant is not recommended, even if you fit the obesity range. That said, I’m not in the medical field myself and I would definitely consult with someone who is!

During my pregnancy, I have kept active and aimed for a balanced diet. I make sure I feel nourished and not hungry - it’s a lot of work to grow a baby! You might consider increasing fiber intake and be sure to be eating lots of leafy greens!

I lost weight during my pregnancy due to gestational diabetes, the High Risk Pregnancy Center provided me a nutritional meal sheet with the amount of carbs, protein, veggies to eat per meal/snacks if you’d like I can send?
