chewing

My cat is constantly chewing nipples off bottles and I’m at my wits end. I’ve bought close to 100 nipples and they are all gone. He’s chewed probably 20 pacifiers. I’ve tried deterring him and nothing works. He swipes clean nipples that are drying right off the counter and he takes bottles right out of my 8 month olds mouth. We’ve been through 6 nipples since Saturday. I got a tub for my sink for nipples but if it doesn’t lock he will dig into the sink and get them. He’s chewed my older sons sippy cups with juice and stuff in them too. I have another baby coming and I’m terrified I won’t have nipples and pacifiers for him. Can I do anything to stop this behavior? Also I tried giving him milk cause I thought that’s why he was taking the bottles and that didn’t seem to make a difference. My cat is about 3-4 months old and my other cats don’t do this. It’s just him.

So I have a cat that likes to chew on babies teethers/silicone toys but she leaves our nipples alone. She also eats plastic so if we leave any type of plastic bag on the counter she’s up there eating holes in it. The only way I can keep her off the toys is putting them out of her reach. Maybe can you get a Tupperware container or something with a lid and store the nipples in there and when you’re using them just make sure you’re watching and take care of it right away. And put something up around the drying rack so he can’t reach them. You can also try putting hot sauce or something they don’t like on the nipple so when he tries to eat it the hot sauce scares him and makes him not wanna chew them anymore. Or the aluminum foil on the counter trick right in front of the bottle rack so when he jumps up it scares him. That doesn’t work for all cats but I know it works for some. That’s a tough one cuz cats are quick and sneaky at times! I’d be beyond frustrated!!

Also do you have chew toys for him? Maybe get some silicone chew toys or rubber chew toys made for cats if you don’t already so he has something to chew, he probably likes the feeling on his teeth since he’s still a kitten and his teeth are growing just like a baby they teethe and wanna chew

Aw. Your cat must think those are all his items! He was the baby first 😂 ok but yes, totally get how frustrating that is. Was he weened from his mom too soon? Can you let him have items to chew and hide the ones he can't? Cats can't be reasoned with so you will have to get creative. Sorry, that's all the advice I have 😂
