Arm hurting from carrying baby.

Hi mommas. I’m 6m pp and I find myself using my left arm to carry the baby around while doing things. Now I noticed that my arm is in a lot of pain and can’t fully straighten it out without hurting. Anyone feel that way?

My baby never took to baby wearing, I think he just got too hot, though I would have loved it if he could. Ever since he could sit up on his own, I’ve been using the Tush baby and it’s a life saver on my arm, back, neck, and shoulders. If I have to carry him more than 2 minutes, I use it. I’ve stood in line at Disney using it even.

@Denise I’ve heard such good reviews about the Tush baby!

I also second the Tush Baby! It’s a game changer…I call it my Batman utility belt because of all the pockets and zippers to store stuff lol

Thank you!!! @Denise I’ll definitely give it a try. I have two carriers but he definitely doesn’t like me putting him in it. For the same reason the heat.

I’ve been lifting a lot More at the gym trying to get my left stronger but I can’t even extend it fully / my joints start to hurt. 😭 the right side is a nightmare can’t even hold him there lolll thank you!! I’ll definitely use my hips more until I try your the tush baby @Ashleigh

@Sarah Oluyadi Keep working on it but also listen to your body. Find the balance between getting stronger and over doing it. Remember our bodies have adapted and overcome so much already this is just one more area of growth 🤣. The hip helps and at the end of the day, really after a few minutes my arm is smoked too but we manage.

@Ashleigh It’s so worth it! And since it’s not a carrier, it’s easy to put baby up and down. I can’t live without it.

@Sarah Oluyadi You’re welcome! Let us know how it goes.
