Thrush pessary not dissolving

I’m 6 weeks post partum and have got really sore thrush. I was prescribed canesten pessary tablet and popped it up 3 days ago. I just had some uncomfortable feeling down there so I looked in the mirror and noticed that the pessary is sitting in the entrance to my vagina and hadn’t dissolved. Is this normal? I had forcep delivery and had a third degree tear
