currently going to do IUI, BTW we had the same wedding dress!!💕💕

its going well. I took my last birth control pill today. I had my baseline scan yesterday and was told i have 38 follicles in right ovary & 23 in my left ovary. I start my stims on sunday

@Nicola not yet. I have endo and I just had a laproscopy to remove some lesions and a cyst. So now we are going to just do some medicated (letrozole) cycles on our own for a while. It's already been more than 2 years we've been trying. Will probably have a more serious conversation about IVF next spring if we still aren't pregnant.

I did my first IUI last Monday so now just waiting ( it was unmedicated but still did trigger + progesterone) I’m not feeling super hopeful to be honest as the days are passing by. How about you?

im currently taking provera to jump start my period so I can start preparing for my FET.

Very first IUI had a chemical, although we were deeply saddened...I'm a little happy I did in fact get pregnant from my very first IUI. We are waiting to start again! I will celebrate the baby steps we have taken to get our baby someday.

please keep the faith I felt absolutely nothing and it did in fact work, first IUI but I had a chemical.

Well I’ve had 5 failed IUI in total now , I am going to see my consultant soon think next steps are IVF now so let’s see , I don’t feel super hopeful too as I feel like nothing is working but have had the all clears on my side so 🤷🏽‍♀️

whah is FET? Sorry I am new to all this IVF journey stuff so much to take in , IUI is a lot different

thank you, I got pregnant in 2023 and I cramped a lot which is why I did a pregnancy test but that sadly ended in a MMC at 7 weeks. I guess I thought I would feel similar. I’m sorry to hear what happened but it’s great you did indeed get pregnant on your very first IUI. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞

thank you, yeah I’m thinking about trying a medicated cycle next if this doesn’t work. Doctor didn’t seem keen though since I’m already ovulating.

I’ve already started consultations with IVF clinics incase IUI doesn’t work. All tests are clear for both me and my partner at this point so it’s unexplained :( keep us updated with your next steps! 🤞

Did anyone test out their trigger shot? When did you get a negative test?

I got a negative 13days after my trigger shot 😢

mine was 6-7 days

it really varies based on metabolism

How’s everyone? Unfortunately first IUI didn’t work for me, I tested and got negative 2 weeks after IUI so I’ve been instructed to stop the progesterone so my period will start. Doctor wanted me to go in straight away for another unmedicated IVF but I’ve opted to do a hycosy test this cycle instead. I’m leaning towards just biting the bullet and going straight to IVF from March!

sorry that your IUI didnt work out but fingers crossed for whatever journey you decide! Im currently waiting for my period so that I can start estrace (estrogen) for my FET in February

I had a hycosy before , glad your going in for that it will give you more clarity as it what’s going on . Am going for my first IVF consultation in feb so fingers crossed 🤞🏽

correct! FET means frozen embryo transfer. I have PCOS so due to being at risk for OHSS (over hyper stimulation syndrome) it was a freeze all egg retrieval
