So my partner thinks this is quite rare but I don’t think it is? However, it’s not something we want. Is there any advice? Our toddler cries and cries and only way they stop is sleeping in our bed.

Our baby always does this. However past 3 nights I've slept with her in her room on a floor bed instead of a cot and she hasn't been in our bed at all. Slept great xx

Ours does this. Put in her cot. When she wakes she cries. As soon as she’s in our bed she’s asleep, she sleeps in the middle of us cuddling up to one of us and the other then is to the side of the bed and I hate it as I always worry. She’s always on top of the cover never under

My lo loves her cot and sleeps all the way through the night. She likes her own space and the one time recently I tried to get her to sleep in our bed because she was poorly she thought it was play time and wouldn’t go to sleep so I put her in her cot and she went straight to sleep.
However my sister still co sleeps with her two eldest and the youngest (15 weeks) sleeps in a next to me. The two eldest start in their own beds but go into her bed when they wake up during the night.
If you don’t mind it then that’s up to you.

My daughter (almost 4) sleeps with me and has done for a while as she’s always been a terrible sleeper, but I’m a single mum and it doesn’t bother me. She’ll sleep right through if she’s in bed with me. My son is 15 months and he’s always slept in his cot with no problems/haven’t needed to co-sleep as he’s always been a good sleeper

Our 14 month old will normally sleep through in her cot. However, we go through bad spells (like now) where she will wake up and settled best with us. I’ll try and stay awake till she is asleep and transfer he back to her cot. Sometimes it works, sometimes she wakes up again as soon as I put her in it.
