Ongoing bleeding

Hi ladies,
Just wondering if I am the only one on earth who experiences 2-3 week bleeds and out of these 2-3 weeks, only one week is obviously my period! Has anyone experienced this? Anyone fell pregnant with this issue?

My period is irregular with how long apart and how much I bleed. Ive had a period for a month before and then sometimes it’s a week or 2 long. When I got pregnant with my son the period I had right before I got pregnant I bleed for 2 1/2 weeks

and may I ask what you both do to try and fall pregnant? How do you control the bleeds and know how to differentiate between the period vs bleeding/spotting? Ovulation kits didn’t work for me, just showed I was ovulating everyday

I’m currently a year into trying for baby #2 and with my son it was a big surprise tbh. I was on the pill and got sick forgot to take the pill for a couple days and that’s how I ended up somehow getting pregnant with my son.
This time around I’m checking my cervical mucus and bbt. For my period it’s always been really heavy and I can never predict when it’s gonna happen but for my spotting it’s always really light and only when I wipe.

we are trying for baby #2 too and it’s taking forever! First baby was a fluke using Letrozole. Now it’s just not working… this bleeding is occurring again and ongoing.

I have had bout of this because my hormones are often so out of whack. I haven’t gotten pregnant yet, but I did have a lot of luck using fertility herbal teas to regular my cycle and it helped curb the long periods of bleeding.

that’s so good! What tea did you take? So now you’re able to differentiate between your real period in between the lengthy bleeding?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
