Congratulation's!!! I hope you have it as smooth as there is, Portable shataf for you, nappies for you, multiple 3-5 outfit for the baby for any extra nights, food get sth to eat like snacks healthy and good for milk supply (Halawa is awesome)
I dont know you background but i also had my prayers written to distracte me from the pain and to focus
This one helped me through the delivery and handling the baby first days thank god

And for you get comfy thing you like to wear that is modest and easy to breastfeed as you might be on display 🤣 may your delivery be amazing and everything afterwards

Charger/ ipad to keep u entertained , snacks and water bottle , bring a set of comfy pjs for release day 3-4 baby outfits make sure they are warm! Well yea deodorant too and lip balm and a blanket the ones they have are rough and bring a baby blanket u dont need to bring bottles or nursing bras baby will have premade bottles given my hospital ! And the hospital gown u will live in it for a good two days you probably will be without a bra if u breastfeeding so i dont think a nursing bra is necessary tbh

Try to take the essentials when i went for my first the nurses were shook about how over prepared i was even though they pretty much had everything i needed besides pjs and toiletries

Gatorade, you're going to need more than water after birth.
I lived in an oversized pj top my entire stay and fuzzy socks
Extra long charger.
Toiletries
My husband had a pillow, a change of clothes and forgot his charger.
For my son I had diapers (didn't use as they provided)
A onesie
A going home outfit
Swaddle

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
