20 week scan - do you need a full bladder?

No. They will really push you to get at the baby and you don’t want to pop.

No, they made me go to the toilet because I had a half full bladder!

See I was told to have a full bladder for all of my scans, 12, 20, 28 and 36 weeks

I went with an empty bladder and they said it should have been full. I would always say go with a full one because it’s much easier to quickly use the toilet than to try and fill your bladder there and then x

They will likely ask for urine sample before your scan. They ask for a urine sample for any appointment I have. I learnt the hard way because they don’t always tell you, or in my case never tell you. I didn’t need a full bladder

They never ask me to come full or empty

Every appointment I’ve been too they say full bladder n il be almost busting for them to tell me to empty it so going to go with an empty bladder.
