New mum buying a buggy! Advice please!

First time mum here!
We test drove the Nuna Triv and Bugaboo Dragonfly today. Any mums out there who own either and have advice / feedback?
Or if you have a buggy which is amazing, please do share.
Key criteria: Not have huge beast wheels, good storage, light weight and fold up easy. I am a simple human, I don’t need the Tesla of buggies.

🙏🏼

Make sure it fits in a car if you have one. Ours does but the bassinet is huge on top of the frame and only found out after you can buy ones that collapse to save room in the car

I don’t know much about the Nuna Triv, but I’ve heard good things about the dragonfly! If you want another city pram recommendation, I have the Joolz Aer+, and I’ve been really impressed with it.

I have the bugaboo dragonfly and I love it. It’s so easy to fold, is lightweight and has great storage. I tried out loads of buggies and rented a couple but I still found the dragonfly the best.

My bestie has the Triv and hates it, she also has lots of issues with the wheels. I myself tried the Dragonfly and thought was ok, but went for Aer as it was lighter/easier to push. And more streamline.

I have a dragonfly as my travel pram, and one thing to note is that the handle sticks out pretty far on its shortest setting. Due to this, when folded down it’s also pretty tall because of the handle length.

It’s easy enough to fold down and has decent storage though.

I got a Hauck buggy set : buggy car seat nappy bag easy fold up was on sale only 100 for all still have now my child’s 4 long lasting German made

I think the ergobaby metro is good for conpact and storage space and the price is good. I also have the baby yoyo zen (great for 1 kid) and lightweight but its storage is rubbish. But also love bugaboo and heard the dragonfly is good. 🙏🏽

The Joolz Hub2 100%!! It’s just come out - before this I was set on a BB dragonfly but the hub2 is so much easier to fold and seems more compact! 😊

sorry to jump on your comment but I was looking for somewhere I can look at this pram as it looks great! Where did you go that had it please? x

no worries!! John Lewis Sloane Square, Kingston and Ox Circus all have it in! 😊

no way perfect thank you! I’m always in Kingston ☺️

Nuna triv has great off-road wheels. I live in the woods so it’s perfect for me

Seems like you’re looking for the things I was looking for when searching ( for ages) for a pram. I ended up loving the silver cross Tide !

We have the nuna triv and love it - we find it so easy to push and have had friends and family say the same when they’ve tried it. Also good across different terrain we find and our baby seems to love being in it! Also great that you can flatten the bassinet

We had same criteria - ordered Silver Cross Reef 2

Love our dragonfly! We live in a basement flat so the one-handed fold is great. The carry-cot is large-ish, but also folds if needed. I’d definitely get the same pram if we did things again. We’d also looked at Nuna but the adjustable height of the dragonfly swayed us as my husband is a good deal taller than I am.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
