Bump measurement
Hi all, I went to see my midwife today and she measured my bump (39 weeks) and said that it’s measuring smaller now but could be because baby’s head is really engaged. She felt around and said she can hardly feel its head now because it’s so engaged. She is sending me for a scan, hopefully tomorrow, but she said not to worry it could just be because baby has moved down so much but I’m obviously abit concerned now. Has anyone else had this happen?

As someone who has had four growth scans with concerns that baby is too small, then too big, then reduced growth, then accelerated growth, I would take the scans with a big pinch of salt and try not to worry!!
I second @Sarah, my scans and measurements have been all over the place!

37 weeks, I’ve had 2 emergency scans because all of a sudden I’ve been measuring super small, baby’s head is engaged but only 4/5. I’ve been told that I might be carrying further back so maybe babies just shifted? Xx
