CM1 + Pregnancy

Hi there! I wanted to join this group because I was told I was high risk literally 4 minutes into my first appointment. I have Chiari Malformation 1 and I was wondering if any other moms out there have this condition or something similar…wondering how tough the pregnancy will be?

Hi! I have it. I had complications but none of them were related to my chiari malformation. They told me it could affect my ability to get an epidural but it did not. I just had to meet with anesthesia before hand.

Thank you !! Did any of your symptoms during pregnancy get worse? I’m noticing more migraines/headaches and sporadic episodes.

I did have a few. I think the worst part was that I couldn’t take excedrin which is what usually helps

Confused Over Test Result

My heads pretty blagged about this atm. I’ve had spotting & some cramping but of the 2 tests I’d have expected the clear blue one to be most accurate. Any advice?

Palpitations and out of breath

Anyone else dealing with heart palpitations and running out of breath super quickly?

I already spoke to my midwife, and they put me on magnesium and extra electrolytes and said if it doesn’t help, to tell them again. I have my next OB appointment on Tuesday and I plan on bringing it back up when I see her then, but I feel like my shortness of breath has just gotten increasingly worse and the dizziness is now off and on when I used to not get it before.

Anyone else has that experience?

I am 30 weeks on Wednesday (March 25) with a C-section scheduled for end of May.

Milestone anxiety

Anyone else really struggling because baby hasn’t hit certain milestones yet? My anxiety is overwhelming me.

Please be nice as I have anxiety…

So I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital for light bleeding when I wipe ( not ever time though).. the doctor told me it was due to sex and that my cervix was irritated has anyone else experienced this? And or know way to just calm my anxiety from it
