My baby boy just turned 6 months and we’re still having a hard time with nap time. He won’t take naps longer than 40 mins unless he’s being carried and he still wakes up in the middle of the night for a full feed. I feel like I’m losing my mind since I thought things would be better by now. Anyone else going through this?

I did!! Some days are better than others. I believe it is our LO really getting into the swing of things now they are more aware. And my LO wakes for a feed in the night too. He goes to bed at 7pm and wakes around 7am but at any point in the night he is up for a full 7oz of milk. It is completely normal for babies to still have a feed in the night. We have some nights he sleeps straight through but most often than not, he wakes for a feed. Also, have you tried extending your LO wake windows? I've noticed my boy sleeps for longer if I keep him awake closer to the 2.5 hour mark!x

My 5 month old also sleeps for 25 minutes 5 times a day. It's just preference. Why does it bother you?

My 5 month old takes 3-4 naps, all contact naps being carried. Have heard they grow out of contact naps at their own pace so I'm just enjoying this while it lasts. Can already see her starting to show signs of wanting to be carried less when she's awake.
She has her last feed around 9 pm and then an overnight feed around 3-4 pm. Overnight feeds are completely normal for babies. Each baby is different but I feel you mama, it can be hard when you hear of some babies who sleep through the night. Yours will get there when they are ready :)
