I don't drive but my husband does. We drop the kids to nursery and school on our bike then come home to work. We both WFH most days but go into the office once a week each.

I do drive but I find it extremely stressful. He starts work at 9, I start at 8, so he'll be dropping the kid off and I'll finish earlier so I'll be walking up to pick them up 🫤

Here in Aus anyone can teach us how to drive, as a learner, as long as they have their full license- we only pay for the testing, the actual day we are going for the test w a professional driving instructor. So as a mum my daughter has her L’s- I’m the one teaching her drive and to get her minimum 120hrs in. She’s never paid for one driving lesson. She only pays the day she goes in to get her P’s. Can you ask anyone that you know, to teach you or get your hours up? (Is that how it works in the US?) Back then, Hubby did the same w me I got my L’s, I drove w him in the car, got my 120hrs, when I’m ready and confident I book and pay to get my P’s.

ketamine?

Has anybody here tried low dosage ketamine treatments for anxiety or depression? I’m always seeing advertisements from brands like “Joyous” and I’m curious to see if anybody has first hand experiences. I’m definitely interested considering I’m still struggling with PPD and major anxiety nowadays.

SAHM - what surprises you most about being a sahm?

Is it what you expected? What are your challenges? I will go first. My biggest challenge is personal development. I was in the middle of deciding what or how i was gonna make money. Now having a baby…. being tired, brain fog, home cleaning, and just balance makes it really hard to explore and figure it out.
Also i now realize how much moms really go through. I was the childless friend! Now i see the behind the scenes emotions, need for love support and understanding, and trying to make it in life! I celebrate and support all pregnant women and parents … especially of small children!
