Hello mamas, I just had my baby girl a couple of days ago (last Friday) & she hasn’t had any poopy diapers since she came out of the womb. I was reading that exclusively breastfed babies can go up to 2 weeks without pooping, wondering if anyone else has gone through the same?

We had the same concern with our LO. Our baby was born on a Thursday, came home Fri and first appt with ped was that Monday. We talked to the ped that he hasn't pooped since the hospital and she said that if he hasn't pooped by Wed (5 days since last poop, to call her and let her know). The very next morning 2am, we had poop and lots of it!

Same thing with my baby girl went about 3 days without pooping when home, tried doing some gas relieving stretches and rubbing her belly. On night 3 tons of poop. Should look mustard yellow with little white specs. (That’s just excess fat from your milk)
Trust your gut though, contact your ped if you think necessary! <3
she did have 2 poopy diapers before we were discharged but I meant to say she hasn’t had any more since then lol
im hoping she will poop tonight since tomorrow will be a week since her last poop 😭 she hasn’t shown any signs of discomfort & she’s constantly passing gas
thank you! If she hasn’t pooped by tomorrow definitely calling it in, just glad she doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort!
