Contraception - coil

Has anyone had the copper coil previously or since baby - what was your experience?

I was on the pill pre pregnancy for 10+ years but would prefer non hormonal contraception now but heard mixed feedback on the coil.

Also my SIL got pregnant as hers fell out which makes me nervous 😅

I had mine in for 9 years took it out caught pregnant a few weeks later 😂

It’s not pleasant putting it in and I will say for 24 hours after having it it’s painful because it’s like your body is like wtf is this but if you persevere it will settle down

I got one which was fine and got pregnant first month after having it taken out, but when the guy was taking it out he said it would have come out by itself soon. Only had it a couple of years so I'm put off getting it again as I don't want any more babies.

I had one pre pregnancy! Worked really well for me as my body couldn’t cope with any hormone options.
Was a little unpleasant having it done but, you soon forget about it!
I will be having it put back in soon for sure.

Im a little desperate already . Im not a huge fan on blowjobs but I’m doing it because I know he likes it .
