Safety of having multiple scans

I’m debating whether or not to have a 4D scan done but I’m anxious about the possible harm I could be causing. Iv had 6 scans already. 2 standard NHS, early scan, gender scan, 1 reassurance scan after a holiday and 1 growth scan with NHS. If I get a 4D that would be scan number 7 and I’m due another growth scan with the NHS so I’d have 8 in total. It’s making me think twice about the 4D though I’d really love to see baby’s face 🥹 anyone else had multiple scans and everything been okay ? I just don’t want to overwhelm the baby

I’ve had 8 scans already, I’m due in for another one today and then I’ll get regular ones until baby is here due to being high risk. They’ve never mentioned it being harmful at all so I don’t see why you couldn’t have that extra one x

On the NHS website, it says there is no known risk to babies due to ultrasound scans. Other studies show a small (and i mean like ridiculously small) risk of affecting fetal growth? but they don’t seem to have much weight to them - as with most pregnancy studies as they cannot test them properly on pregnant women. There is also studies saying small links to dyslexia and things like that, but they were discredited a while ago by a few people I believe. I’ve had 10 so far and will need a couple more before she is here due to GD, if there was any worry they would have to inform you so you can make the decision. But like any medical procedure of course it is not 100% safe there is the tiny (not even 1%) that have effects but those effects seem to be like I said a slight impact on fetal growth which has no long term side effects❤️ If you are concerned speak with your doctor but I really wouldn’t be worried, people have loads during pregnancy due to different things and their babies are fine❤️

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
