What’s everyone’s thoughts on sleep training? Any advice for the best method! My LB slept so well from 6 months in his own room then he got really poorly so we moved him back in with us and switched him rooms ( I know it’s a lot of transition in a short space of time). Hes 10 months now and for the past week he’s been really unsettled going to sleep, it takes us a good 2 hours to settle him and then he’s up every few hours.

We were strongly against sleep training until we became desperate. Our son would nap 20 mins in the crib or 2 hrs on us, and would wake up every hour or less all night. It was taking hours to put him to bed, and he'd often wake up screaming for a few hours overnight.
We finally hired a sleep consultant and it has changed our lives. It was awful the first night, but he is a happier and more well rested baby now, and my mental health is much better. He sleeps an 8 hr stretch every night and naps up to 2 hrs in his crib for naps.
We used Wee Bee Dreaming as our sleep consultant. Pam was amazing and worked within our comfort level to reduce my anxiety about doing something I never thought I would do. She's in Canada but does everything virtually, so you can be based anywhere.
