Dry/Chapped Lips

I’ve been breastfeeding for 12 weeks and I cannot seem to heal these dry and chapped lips! I’ve tried blistex, aquaphor, Vaseline and nothing seems to work! I used to slap on some blistex for a week and they were healed and I am on about 10 weeks of this… SOS!!

Maybe you need to tackle the dehydration from the inside and drink more water? I remember being soooo thirsty in the early days of breastfeeding!

Nuxe lip balm is expensive but very good. Otherwise lansinoh also does lippy from the same stuff as their nippy cream

It's quite common when breastfeeding, if they're seriously bad maybe contact a pharmacy

We need 3L of water a day when BF so up your water intake

Omg. No same. And I chug water and gateraid and have tried liquid IV. Nothing seems to helping. Following for advice 😥

Definitely increase your water intake & I used lanolin nipple cream as chapstick. Will never buy actual chapstick again because I swear that’s the only thing that truly helps.

Cosleeping

So my 5 month old sleeps in a portable bassinet between myself and my husband every night. He's so good, he sleeps the whole night with both of us each holding one of his hands. My husband wants him to start sleeping in his crib but I honestly love him being with me. I sleep so much better knowing he's right there with me. The times I have tried to put him in his crib he screams and I feel so awful. I also sit there watching the monitor and don't ever get any sleep. I feel like I am being selfish because I want him to stay in the bed with me. I get that in the long run it's better for him to learn to sleep in his crib in his own room but I am just so not ready and he doesn't seem to be either. Is there ever really a good time to make the change? Anyone else dealing with this?

Question for the newborn mamas!

My 2 month old coughs and chokes in between feeds recently. It will come on randomly. Sometimes it’s scary! I think it’s because of reflux but I can’t be sure. He also has been salivating a lot more so he’s got a build up of that. Any ideas/ tips tricks to help?

Daily bath time?

Are there any mums who are bathing their babies daily? My daughters 7 weeks old and I’m only bathing her 2/3 times a week as recommended by my midwife but I feel it helps soothe her tummy as well as relaxes her before bedtime and I’m wondering if I should add more baths into our routine!

Third child

What do you do about car space when having a 3rd child. My car won’t fit 3 car seats in the back. I’m mainly stressing as it will only be weekends that the 5 of us will all go in it. Buying a bigger car isn’t an option atm as only just brought a new car 2 weeks ago. Just found out I’m pregnant

Developmental leap? Sleep regression? HELP

My baby turned 1yo a couple days ago and she started screaming bloody murder before every nap and bedtime. Like, her screams are scary and loud. It doesn’t necessarily last, but it can be long (20-30 minutes). She doesn’t settle easily and refuses categorically to be put down…I am about to lose my damn mind. Is someone else going through this? Did you experience this? Please help 😭
