After my first ultrasound, but I’ve had previous miscarriages.

I plan on keeping it a secret till 1-2 months after I give birth šŸ˜‚

I've already told close family and friends I plan on posting it after my first ultrasound on feb 11th!!

We’ve told some close friends but I think we’re gonna wait a while to tell family and other friends because we’ve had two losses. We were thinking around 20 weeks (if we can last that long lol) and that’ll be around Easter so would be cute šŸ˜‹ but gonna take it one day at a time

Avatar

I’ll wait until after the first trimester or maybe even longer.

Avatar

I’m going to wait until first ultrasound due to my history.

I don't know that I'm going to make a big post about it at all. I've been telling folks when it seems like a natural part of conversation or I have a question for them about their previous pregnancies but always with the mention that it's still very early.

Avatar

I told some close friends but just mailed a package with a photo of ultrasound and few keepsakes for my biological mom.

i told my mom right away, she guessed when i was pregnant with my first and with my miscarriage before the lines even showed up, so i asked her how she was feeling (for some reason she gets her period twice a month everytime i got pregnant lmao) and she told me to text then keep her updated. so i told her, my fiance and my sons godmother the same day i found out. told a few other people within a few days but the majority of people im gonna wait until either i start showing or im out of the ā€œdanger zoneā€ since i do have the history of miscarriages. but there’s never a wrong time to tell people! whenever you feel right !

This is our second, so we’re waiting until Easter to spring it on the family- I’ll be 17 weeks, so it’ll be a big surprise. My SIL just announced they were pregnant with their first at Christmas, so I want them to have more time to enjoy the family’s excitement and joy solely focused on them

Avatar

I told a few close relatives and everyone one else will be after 12 weeks

Avatar

After my first ultrasound, that would be about week #7

I have already told my my best friends ,mom and Mil waiting until 12 weeks to tell the rest of my family

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way šŸ˜‚ arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
