Insomnia

Does anyone have any tips or tricks with dealing with insomnia at this stage.
I feel so fatigued/drained during the day, but at night, I'm up til like 3 or 4 am I try not to drink to much caffeine and exercise eat healthy as I can (yet somehow gained like 5kg eating the same thing I've always done) and not watching to much TV or my phone.
But I feel like I'm going insane and not being able to sleep, so I will switch on the Tv or, just read a book in hopes I get sleepy.
I tried lavender, and all tried magnesium but made some symptoms worse (I'm have other things going on. I'm just complicated 😅).
Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Hello 🙂 Our M-brace The Change factsheet on sleep should be handy:

Not all types of magnesium are particularly helpful with sleep - this is mentioned in the factsheet.

If you aren't already using HRT, that might be worth considering: it's the first-line treatment for peri/menopause symptoms, and modern Body-identical HRT is very low risk for most people most of the time.

Our Symptom Handbook might be useful too:
