Baby rotating in crib

Hi all,

My 7 week old sleeps great in her Tutti Bambini next2me crib however she is very active in her sleep and has started to rotate so that she ends up diagonal/horizontal across the crib. My fear is that only part of the sides of the crib are mesh (the bottom bit where her head is is fabric) and that she’ll end up getting herself into a risky position with her face mushed against the sides. Is anyone else experiencing this? What did you do? I could transition her to her cot and place it next to my bed but it feels too early!

We have the same crib! My first son did this literally find him nose squashed right up to the side every morning and it freaked me out he’s 2 1/2 years now. My 6 weeks old has also just started to do it not as anxious about it this time although it’s not mesh I’m sure it is still breathable material to ensure its safety.

That’s so good to know it happens thank you! First time anxiety is the worst 🤣 I had read that it’s fine because it’s quite solid and not soft padding but wasn’t sure x

Daily bath time?

Are there any mums who are bathing their babies daily? My daughters 7 weeks old and I’m only bathing her 2/3 times a week as recommended by my midwife but I feel it helps soothe her tummy as well as relaxes her before bedtime and I’m wondering if I should add more baths into our routine!

Sleeping at Night

I gave birth on 31st March. FTM struggling, my baby hates being put down, hates the next to me crib. We’ve tried swaddling, sleep bags, white noise, any advice I would be so grateful. I haven’t had much sleep since giving birth so grateful for any tips

Stopping breastfeeding at night?

For EBF babies, how on earth do we start settling them without the boob? My boy is 9 months and wont settle from night wakes unless he has the boob 😫

Bathing

Might be stupid, but oh well 😂...how do you bathe your babies who still topple over when sitting?
We're using angle care bath support even our LB is turning 10 months very soon...we're using it especially after poos as with the amount he poos it's simply easier for us to shower his bottom every single time. One of the sticky legs broke today so we got a collapsible basket as a tryout but he straight away toppled over and hit his head on the back of the basket. 🫣
I got in the past a tip of using an anti-slip mat on the bottom of the bath and simply let him lie in the bath but like this his hair will get wet which is not ideal when we wanna go out straigh away after bath.
I just kinda wonder if there's any other way we could do the bath time besides bath seat (which we have as well) cause it's hard to rinse him properly when he sits in it. Genuinely asking as we shouldn't be using bath support anymore cause he's over weight limit for it. 🫢

Car seat

Is this a good car seat? If not what do you recommend that’s not ridiculous price?
