8 days postpartum and suddenly having cramps?

To be fair i had a very quick and easy labor experience. My recovery was also very quick, or so said the nurses over and over. For the first time, i am having mild cramps that have felt like contractions getting worse throughout the evening. Ive been on my feet since being home, we even had his first outing walking around town for a few hours. Is this pain normal a week pp if i havent had pain already? Did i just push myself too hard yesterday?

Are you breast feeding ? You’ll feel cramping if you are

It's normal to get cramps postpartum, especially while breastfeeding. I'm 4 weeks pp and still get those contraction type cramps even when I'm not actively breastfeeding. It's your uterus shrinking back down to it's pre baby size. I wouldn't think taking a walk would do any harm unless you're overdoing it. I was out and about walking nonstop right after having my first baby

not breastfeeding, been trying to stop lactation since i delivered. Heating pad and ibuprofen has helped but just confused as to why its only starting now

Your uterus is shrinking back down to size but if you worried def call your doctor

Regardless of breastfeeding or not your uterus still needs to shrink back to its usual size and that causes contraction like cramps so it’s most likely that

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
