To fridge or to
Freeze?

I pimp once a day at get about 100ml of breast milk. Currently I breastfeed and top up with formula every now and again or my husband gives formula bottle
In the night time once.

I’m conflicted as to what to do with the milk I pump! Should I start creating a bit of a freezer stash or should I keep it in the fridge and give that to her instead of the formula? Only thing is she might need more than just my Breast milk that I pump And still require the top Up.

If it was me, I would use the pumped milk to replace the formula and just use less formula. If still need to use some to supplement that’s totally okay! You just have to decide what works best for you and what will be the best use of the pumped milk! I wouldn’t want it to go to waste in the freezer if I saved it and ended up not using it. It’s completely up to you!

I struggle to use my freezer stash and laugh at younger postpartum me for stressing about having a freezer stash. I now go by “feed the baby, not the freezer” mentality. I have about 200oz going to expire (will use for baths) and it’s quite sad I never used it after working so hard to make it.

I also have high lipase and my milk takes like metal lol. I don’t know how my LO tolerates it.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
