Hi all,
This may seem a bit neurotic to some but I’m planning on deep cleaning my washing machine before washing baby’s clothes ahead of arrival.
It’s a pre used machine in a rented house and I have 2 cats so I just want to be safe and make sure it’s super clean before putting baby bits in there.
I’m planning on doing the laundry next week for baby- am I best off cleaning the machine today/tomorrow and letting a few cycles go through it first to clear any of the cleaner or would you do it fresh on Monday and a rinse through to get rid of any remaining chemicals?

I did, I did a bleach clean, then a detol machine clean and then Milton spray inside the machine too xx
Thank you! I’ve taken apart the machine today and bleached it all and did a self clean cycle then will do a cycle with a machine cleaner on Monday before the first load of baby bits!
