I’m exclusively breastfeeding and not had a period yet! 3.5 months PP

Is this okay ? I heard breastfeeding can stop periods. I do have PCOS so like not having a period for a while is normal for me anyway but not ever been 3 + months xx

Very normal when breastfeeding! My son was EBF for six weeks and then combo fed, I still didn't get my period until 7 months pp

I'm 6 months pp and still no period

Avatar

It took me 9 months for it to come back

9 months and haven't got it yet. Tbh quite pleased about it and not looking forward to it coming back 😅

I didn't get one for 18 months with my first baby, EBF for 2.5 years x

I was 21 1/2 months pp before anything restarted for me.

I only just got my period back. My daughter is 2 tomorrow!
She’s been slowing down on the breastfeeding recently. I was gutted when it came back tbh 😂

6 months and nothing

Avatar

ahhh I wish! I got mine yesterday at 2m pp

Avatar

Yeah I'm over 4 months PP and nothing! Apparently it can be really heavy if it comes back straight away anyway because the womb is still large so I'm pleased to delay it 😄

6 months pp and nothing yet for me and I do mixed feeding

Avatar

Took 14 months with my first, with my second I’m 13 months and no period. However I do feel better taking a pregnancy test every month or 2

Avatar

Yep. I’m over 3 months PP and still nothing x

Totally normal. I got mine back around the 3 month mark, but it was super irregular after that. I only had two postpartum periods and then I got pregnant again 😅 so 2 periods over the course of like 7 months. It might not regulate to your "normal" until you stop breastfeeding.

Mine came at 19m. I wasn’t waiting for it, it could stay away forever for all I care 😂 you can still ovulate without a period btw. Doesn’t matter if you get a period or not, you can still become pregnant while BF no period, it’s happened many times before. That’s why advice now is don’t rely on BF as a birth control method, many have gotten pregnant while BF no period and was shocked that they were pregnant

Same .. I’m
4 months pp and exclusive breasfeeding . I have PCos and no period yet

Avatar

I just got my period back at almost 11 month pp 4/10 would not recommend

Mine was over a year and then still took a few months to become regular x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Hour night wakes and 5am get up

Can anyone shed some light as to why on earth my child doesn’t want to sleep??? My eyeballs are bleeding!!

Never been a good sleeper, but the problems always changing. He’s nearly 9 months old.

Beginning of the month he dropped to 2 naps. We could put him to bed at 7pm and he’d get up for the day at 6am, with multiple wake ups every 2/3 hours.

Now we put him down at 7pm, he can do a good 4/5 hour stretch, but come 1/2am he’s up every hour then getting up for the day at 5am. This then completely messes up the day because I can’t keep him awake long enough to even get to 7pm, let alone later.

He has 2 naps, roughly about 1hr10 each but it changed based on when he wakes and trying to get him to a reasonable bed time.

What could be the reason for this? 6am is fine, but 5am is not 😩😩

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
