Going to the baby show on Sunday and hoping to test drive a few but so confused on what to try, there's endless options and more I search, more confused I get, how did you choose yours?
I know I want it to be compact, easy on the tube, not sure if i want it to be car seat to pram...
Thanks!

It’s great you’re going to the show but it’s going to be SO busy that the attendants don’t have much time to show you how to fold prams and spend much time w you one on one - I would go to the show but not have high hopes that you’ll get your pram that day because thousands of parents attend those expos and it gets REALLY busy. Instead, go to a normal big baby shop on the weekday and because it’ll be quiet they have the time and patience to go through prams w you, talk pros and cons, show how to fold and unfold etc, even talk car seats etc I spent a whole 1.5hrs just having the one guy attend to me and give me his full attention and show me prams in the end I was tossing up between Icandy and Bugaboo Fox I got the Fox. I didn’t need the adapters for car seat coz our car seat stays in the car we didn’t use a system. Still have fun at the show though! Heaps of freebies and samples and deals haha

We ended up choosing the cheapest pram in the shop 😄 Not because of the price, but because it was the most lightweight & easiest to push & it looked nice as well.

If you can't see how the prams are used or test drive, watch other people test drive them and I would keep note of the brand/name and then do your research.
Most prams were clunky and the pushchairs that were compact were used after baby was 6 months and/or sitting unaided. I found the car seat attachment on a pram useful for once Baby was more aware of surroundings rather than lying in the bassinet. Xx

We based on price. Paid £350 for a bassinet style pram, the chassis, footmuff, bag, car seat and base (car seat can also be put on chassis in place of bassinet). We'll see how well it holds up. It also folds down to be used in a car.

I felt the same way! The options are endless and after researching, I thought I’d settled on my choices but then changed my mind when I went to a store to try them out. I found a local baby store that had all the popular brands so you could push them around. They’re on instagram (Bambi baby) and they do a lot of video tutorials.
I commute often on the metro so I needed a lighter option. So I ended up purchasing two. The silver cross wave - it comes with everything you need for first baby and second (if that’s the plan) - bassinet and two chairs. Then purchased the silver cross jet for commuting, plane travel, etc.
I went with the Nuna pipa air for car seat - but im not in UK so you may have different options/standards.
The Doona is really popular here in NYC but I’m not a fan. Very heavy and the baby sits so low to the ground.
Thanks everyone! I'm leaning towards the Nuna triv right now
