Any hobbies you always wanted to try but never got round to it? I have quite a lot but rarely get round to them. Gaming... I knit and crochet so making baby stuff while watching TV in the evenings. Might have a bath during my baby's first nap, do a facemask. Reading.
@Tanya how do you have time to start a new hobby? I’ve been trying to shave my legs for about a month and I never get a minute to myself long enough 😂😂😂
@Chloe yeh see Chloe idk why but I seem to have loads of time to kill … idk if it’s because my baby is an easy baby?! 🙉
@Chloe they're not new ones for me rather ones I forget about for months then start again 😂
See I think my boy is easy, albeit it clingy, but I don’t feel like I ever get me time!
Soooooooooo bored. honestly, loving every second of it but i just live for the weekends when other friends and family are off work and we can socialise more. i go out and about and do swimming and classes etc but baby girl is such a happy soul and sleeps all night so i’m not even tired like i’m up for anything in the day 😂
@Kate exactly same here!! 🤣
I’m so jealous of you bored people. Embrace the peace and quiet and boredom 🤣 because if and when this baby reaches toddlerhood and baby number 2 comes along, fluffin hell, you will crave boredom trust me 😭 what id do to chill and be bored for a day!
@Becki yeh I can imagine 😅 I actually do not know how people do toddler and baby at once , even with my easy baby 😅
Ideas - Join The Mum Club. They have local chapters and hosts meet ups. Great place to meet even more mum friends outside of the classes you’re already going to - Swimming - Local Farm - Soft play that has a sensory section for babies - Aquarium - visit museums and art galleries (especially if baby is an easy baby and won’t cry) - window shopping (or real shopping) - story time at a local library - Cinema. Many cinemas now have mum and baby early morning showings where the sound is turned down but you could still buy ear defenders just in case
@Becki so true. I have a 3 year old as well but she's in nursery full-time. The odd time I have both of them home during the week I feel like my head's going to explode.
@Tanya mine does nursery 2 days a week but I go to baby classes with the October baby on those days so I never have a chill day!
I feel the same, I am LOVING being off work but sometimes find myself at a loss as to what to do with the day! Not advise as such but I agree x
