Hey, my little one only likes to be carried face forward (she is almost 4 months old). I’ve now read some very different things about carrying babies facing forward online and unsure what to do. I’ve attached a picture of her in the carrier. Maybe someone could give us some advice? 😊 (I would only carry her like this for 20 minutes tops)

I wanted to front face my LO. I went to a sling library asking and they told me to wait until she's 5 months. As it's the trunk part that they need to develop more. She's sitting up assisted ( at 4 months) and she wants to see everything around her. I got given a different carrier to try out where she could be into me supported but still see

Maybe I will do the same, thank you 😊

I have my four 1/2 month in it for up to ten minutes. He has great head control and has been sitting unaided since before four months.
I think the other worries is that it can over stimulate them and the pressure it puts on their hips which is why i don’t let him do it for too long. Our carrier is the ergo baby one and it has a setting for forward facing too 😌

Hort bits is a good idea as you're already doing.
It depends on their head control but probably a bit young at 4 month (although I don't know your kid)
The pressure on their hips as mentioned is the reason for short bits.

Would really recommend joining the baby wearing UK page on Facebook, they’ve got some super helpful advice xx

Thank you all 😊
