28 week midwife appointment

I have my 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow, I’m seeing lots of comments on here about baby’s measurements etc, I haven’t been measured before, do they just measure your stomach?

Yes they go from your pubic bone upto the top of your uterus I wasn’t measured today but that’s only because I’m at the hospital tomorrow for a growth scan x

Yes. The measurement is from top of your uterus (the fundus) to the pubic bone. Your bump measurement should be the equivalent to how many weeks you are so 28 weeks = 28cm. They allow a variation of 2cm each way.

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy nose 😭🤣

I thought it was a myth but when I look back at pictures of me pregnant with my first child, my nose literally swelled up so big it was ridiculous 🤣

Please tell me other people have had pregnancy nose or at least heard of it hahahah dreading it this time around

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.
