Please tell me if I'm being over the top or if this would bother any of you. My mother in law since I had my baby 18 months ago has always been quite overbearing. I always feel like I'm being thought of as uptight or overprotective or strict. My baby suffered really bad with reflux and has never been a very good sleeper (he has to have an operation) when my MIL has had my little one is ask her to stick to naps and discuss what food he has had what he needs etc and whenever I go to get him it's not been stuck too. He hasn't had the nap he has needed or she's given him milk when I have told her not too and explained why. And when I say things to her it's like I'm speaking a foreign language. But it leaves me feeling so deflated and stuck in my own head that I'm the problem. I just feel she wants to do it her way. I picked my son up the other day after him having such a poor nap and he was that tired he had to go to bed at 5 (and hour and a half earlier than his bedtime) he hadn't had his fruit, she'd given him milk so he didn't eat his dinner. Just feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. She always only seems to want him and bit spend time with us both which is a little upsetting because I used to go round for brews and chat to her. before having my little one. And it's now like I'm just my partners wife. (Don't know if that's because they think I'm always picking fault) which I'm not. I literally just say stick to that stuff and crack on. I'm not a micromanger of my child but I expect to be listened to if they are going to be in your care without me being there.

Don’t let her have little one again unsupervised she’s shown you she can’t be trusted

agree ✨💯

Teach her a lesson, she should be respecting you and listening and sticking to your wishes of your baby and she is not so
